  • Self Care

    This session can be delivered over a series of workshops or compacted into one 90 minute session. The session discusses how positive lifestyle choices can be adapted into a busy and stressful lifestyle, it focuses specifically on the symptoms of burnout in Humanitarian aid and volunteering and how to develop an appropriate and individualized self care plan which can act as a preventative measure for symptoms of burnout. During the session, participants are encouraged to reflect on how the attitude, mental health, wellbeing and behaviour of the helper can have a direct effect on the people they are supporting.

  • Self Regulation

    The session provides a basic introduction to the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Utilising this information the session explores ways in which we can relax our nervous system and support our colleagues in doing so, through breathing practises, mindfulness exercises, EFT tapping and yogic breathing (pranayama) The session is delivered by a qualified yoga instructor. In Humanitarian aid we often find that we put our own needs aside for the needs of others, this session provided small and easily accessible tools to support our self regulation.

  • Emergency Yoga and Breathing Practices

    This session provided simple breathing practices and stretches which can be used in situations when there is limited time and space to gain clarity and stability. Emergency yoga is used to centre yourself , connect with your body and prioritize breathing. In emergency situations it is very easy to forget to breathe - this can in turn directly affect neurological capability and the thinking process which can then lead to panic attacks and increased anxiety. This session teaches basic techniques that can be used in less than 5 minutes to prepare or brief volunteers during a stressful situation at any time. 

  • Anxiety Reducing Movement Practice

    This session is a combination of Yin Yoga, vinyasa yoga, breathing techniques and self-soothing massage. The session creates a safe nurturing space and guides the participants through a specially designed sequence which is specifically designed to increase and then lower the heartbeat in a gentle and relaxing way. The session is targeted for people who suffer anxiety and includes EFT tapping and meditation to close.

  • Body Strengthening

    Using fluid vinyasa yoga, the session aims to work on physical conditioning to awaken the senses and engage the core. These strengthening practices can improve mental clarity and empower the participant, combating lethargy and stress. The session aims to provide the participant with basic movements and tools which when practiced regularly can drastically improve physical strength.

  • Yoga Nidra

    Yoga Nidra is guided meditation without movement that is proven to reduce stress and anxiety. The sessions are usually weekly, However individualised sessions can be facilitated with Kelley.

  • Yoga (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin)

    Sessions are delivered online. They are specifically designed for humanitarian aid workers and volunteers to reduce stress and improve movement and flexibility.

  • Guided Meditations

    Guided meditations can be facilitated and recorded for different groups and individuals-with the integration of Yoga Nidra, contemplative psychology and eastern philosophy.

  • Ayurvedic Consultation

    A consultation from our ayurvedic therapist. A personalized focus on harmonizing the body with nature through diet, herbal remedies, yoga, meditation, exercise, lifestyle and body cleansing.

  • Daily Routine Care

    Discover the basic philosophy of Ayurveda and how it can help us to implement a self-care routine for your daily life. Transforming unhealthy habits into habits that bring us closer to our health and in balance with our environment. A moment where you create space for yourself.

  • Improving Digestion through Ayurveda

    "You are what you digested" According to Ayurveda, a part of wellbeing comes from how we digest the food we eat, to the experience we live... This is a session to get an understanding about the principles and forces of digestion and will give you specific tools to improve it, in order to feel healthy and see clearly.

  • Sleep Hygiene

    We spend just under half of our life sleeping. In humanitarian aid, sleep is what allows us to rejuvenate, heal and therefore be able to support others who are vulnerable. Sleep is often abused and not respected in the way that it should be for many reasons. This session touches upon the need to nurture sleep hygiene to ensure that we as humanitarian aid workers are the best version of ourselves. The session provides simple solutions based on scientific theory and supports the participants in their self care and wellness journey.

  • Guided Self-massage

    Self-esteem and self-love start with the relationship you have with yourself. And nothing better to feel it and embody it than massaging yourself with your own hand. You will learn how to massage yourself according to the Ayurveda philosophy, the benefits of it and the wisdom behind it.

  • Tension Releasing Movement

    After enduring emotional and psychological stress and/or trauma, the human body can hold this stress in different places physically. This session is designed to teach the participants basic movements and stretching to release tension in the body- the session uses Yin Yoga and teaches massage techniques. It is a very relaxing session and works with the participants gently to ensure that they feel supported.
